Yet the date flowed softly, sweet and effortless,

So effortless that Melissa planned their next adventure

A weekend getaway to a cottage,

Officially Us
On March 7, 2021,
Rahul chose another cottage,
To make their love official and true,
A perfect place where comfort lived,
Where memories weave and hearts renew.
Cottages became the backdrop to their bond,
A home for laughter, warmth, and light,
The start of a lifetime journey,
Two souls walking together, holding tight.
Building a Home Together
In November 2022,
They took a step forward,
And decided to finally share one space,
From meeting often to choosing curtains and décor,
Filling their home with warmth and grace.
They learned each other’s rhythms,
And built a haven cozy, tender, and bright,
A perfect home for them, and for Toby,
Who made their little world feel just right.
The Perfect Proposal
August 2024 became a fairytale memory,
A moment crafted with love so deep,
Rahul planned a proposal with intention in every detail,
A promise he vowed to keep.
A red dress, elegant shoes, jewellery,
A bouquet, and the ring that made her heart soar,
But the castle on Lake Geneva, Château de Chillon,
Made the moment something more.
The turquoise lake, the Alps beyond,
The soft moody sky blessing the day,
A photographer quietly captured their joy,
As emotions found their way.
In that magical stillness,
Rahul asked Melissa to be his forever, his guiding light,
And she said yes instantly, joyfully,
A perfect beginning wrapped in pure delight.

On June 20, 2026,
They will say “I do” in a cottage resort,
That feels like home,
Surrounded by love,
